On May 7th, join Farm Labor Organizing Committee, AFL-CIO members and allies at Reynolds American’s annual shareholders meeting to call on the company to sign an agreement with FLOC guaranteeing freedom of association to all farmworkers in their supply chain!
For the 7th year, FLOC has been pressuring tobacco companies to sign an agreement guaranteeing labor rights in their supply chain. In the last two years, FLOC has been in discussions with multiple tobacco companies around a solution to the abuses in NC tobacco fields. However, the industry would rather implement programs that only touch the surface of the issues in the NC fields rather than sign an agreement with FLOC, guaranteeing labor rights in their supply chain, so workers can negotiate their own solutions. So until they sign an agreement, this campaign Continues! Join us on May 7th as we will hold a march and demonstration at the Reynolds American Headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC.
Where: Lloyd Presbyterian Church,
748 N. Chestnut St., Winston-Salem, NC
Time: 10:00 AM Meet at Lloyd, Picket at Reynolds at 10:30 AM
followed by a march through Winston-Salem.
