In commemoration of World Day Against Child Labor, FLOC President Velasquez outlines how child labor is just one of the many consequences of the US government and agricultural industry denying farmworkers a voice on the job.
On May 7th, join Farm Labor Organizing Committee, AFL-CIO members and allies at Reynolds American’s annual shareholders meeting to call on the company to sign an agreement with FLOC.
On March 14th and 15th, close to 50 rank-and-file union leaders convened in Monterrey, Mexico for the 7th National Congress for H2A Guest Workers.
The National Farm Worker Ministry, its board and allies, visited NC farm worker camps to express solidarity with the farm workers and the current sign up campaign.
The delegation of statesmen will visit farms in the supply chain of various manufacturers- with particular attention to the supply chains of Reynolds and British American Tobacco- at the height of the tobacco growing season to speak with farmworkers about their living and work conditions.
